Popstars is a docu-reality on the making of a pop group, who can sing, dance and handle the pressures of instant celebrity, from auditions through to the release of their first single and their first performance on stage.
Unlike shiny floor music competitions, Popstars tells the real story behind the success. The contestants’ personalities shine through, as they go on an emotional journey, away from home living in a shared house, striving to stand out from the crowd in one of the most high-pressure situations they’ve ever experienced.
An A-list panel of industry professionals put their reputation on the line to cast, coach, train, mentor and produce the contestants into the ultimate band.
