The Roses are an ordinary family, with ordinary problems: the parents are going through a rough time, the teenager yearns for more independence, and the youngest child is struggling to fit in.
When their camper van breaks down near Le Breuil, a seemingly quiet and charming village, they are forced to mingle with the locals for the first time – their survival depending on it.
Their arrival brings back to light a 7-year-old missing person investigation, a disappearance the Roses might have something to do with. Gendarme Pilar is on their track. With the Roses increasingly desperate to protect their secret, they embark on a treasure hunt that could be the solution to their problems. Yet as the past resurfaces, and the family ties are shattered, Le Breuil proves to be a deadly trap where the hunters quickly become the prey.
