The first truly phenomenal competitive entertainment series, taking culinary artistry to a whole new creative level where creativity, ambition, and skill collide. Set in a spectacular gallery-style studio, teams of award-winning chefs put their skills to the test and reputations on the line to create mind-blowing art that tastes great.

Each episode focuses on a different artistic theme. The teams of two chefs face the ultimate challenge: to transform everyday ingredients into extraordinary, edible works of art—worthy of being displayed in an art gallery. Contestants are pushed beyond boundaries, encouraged to think as abstractly as possible. The competition discourages traditional plating and instead embraces sculpture, canvas, hanging installations, and splatter techniques. From hyper-realistic illusions and multi-sensory experiences to spectacular showpieces, nothing is quite what it seems.

The exceptionally high-calibre judges—renowned Australian food critic, MC, and television presenter Melissa Leong, alongside Vaughan Mabee, the world’s 44th-ranked chef from Amisfield, New Zealand—are on hand to provide guidance but ultimately assess creations on taste, story, creativity, and design.

Across unique challenges and nail-biting eliminations, competitors will test their ingenuity, precision, and palate. Only one team will take home the Taste of Art trophy. Bold, inspiring, and unlike anything seen before.
