American Ninja Warrior returns for its eighteenth season with a regional format and another thrilling search for the country’s strongest obstacle-course athlete.
Filmed in Las Vegas, the competition welcomes experienced fan favourites alongside ambitious newcomers, all determined to prove their speed, strength, balance and endurance. Contestants are divided into Western, Eastern and Central regions, beginning with demanding qualifying courses packed with familiar challenges and inventive new obstacles. Those who progress reach the Regional Finals, where the Tripleheader raises the stakes by placing three ninjas on parallel courses for head-to-head-to-head races.
Only the most successful competitors earn places in the National Finals. There, sixty elite athletes face a succession of intense, side-by-side contests in pursuit of the championship. Hosted by Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, with Zuri Hall reporting from the sidelines, Season 18 combines personal stories, spectacular athletic performances and unpredictable racing in a fast-paced test of skill and determination.
