A moving and inspirational account of the last chapter of Ozzy’s life
1 x 60'
On Saturday 5th July, against all the odds, Ozzy Osbourne made it onto the stage one last time to perform a homecoming gig with his band Black Sabbath in Birmingham. The performance was classic Ozzy: defiant, mischievous, giving the fans what they want.
Just over two weeks later, surrounded by his family, Ozzy died at home.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home is told through unique and intimate access to the whole Osbourne family, including Sharon, Jack and Kelly. Filmed over three years, it captures the extraordinary roller-coaster of their lives as Sharon and Ozzy attempt to complete their long-held dream of moving back to the UK, Ozzy heroically struggles to get fit enough to perform and the family deal with the dramatic consequences of his ill-health.
The film is full of love, laughter and tears and the kind of unforgettable family moments that we’ve come to expect from the Osbournes. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home is a remarkably candid and uplifting tribute to one of the world’s true icons, and captures the first family of rock – as close and relatable as ever – as they accept, as Kelly says, “Iron Man isn’t made of iron.”
The ground-breaking reality television series that gave audiences unprecedented access into the chaotic yet endearing home life of heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, his wife and manager Sharon, and their children Jack and Kelly.
At a time when reality TV was still defining itself, the show blends raw authenticity with outrageous humour, turning the family into unlikely cultural icons. With its mix of domestic squabbles, heartfelt moments, and Ozzy’s bewildered charm, The Osbournes stands as a pop-culture phenomenon that reshaped television, proving that celebrity reality programming can be both relatable and wildly entertaining.
Seasons 1-4: 52 x 30'
When it first aired in 2002, there was nothing quite like The Osbournes – the family or the show.
Following the domestic life of Ozzy, Sharon, their children Jack and Kelly, the dogs and anyone else who came into their world – it was a raw, warts and all look at what its like to be in the inner circle of The Prince of Darkness. As relevant today as it was back then, each episode shows us scenes from the real life of a typical multimillionaire middle-aged heavy-metal rock star with two teenagers, a shopaholic wife that’s the real head of the house, a large stable of unruly pets, and some of the many people they meet up with.
The Basement Tapes brings the family into the present day, with comedian Amy Miller joining the family to take a comedic and reflective look back at every episode of the original reality series.
