Every episode features a Tradition Challenge, celebrating the best of Italian culinary tradition, and an Innovation Challenge, taking the grandmas completely out of their comfort zones — from street food to Japanese cuisine and BBQ. A rotating line-up of high-profile guest judges joins the host to taste and judge. The 2 lowest-scoring grandmas then face a final elimination duel. Episode by episode, the field narrows until the grand finale, where one will be crowned the country’s best grandma cook.
Beyond the competition, we discover the women behind the aprons: unfiltered, genuine and full of life. Set in a beautiful countryside farmhouse, the show brings their personalities and stories to life through moments of great laughter and genuine emotion
