Susan Calman is back for more Grand Days Out, in the company of her beloved campervan, named for one of her favourite people, Helen Mirren.
Susan is set for more joyful, revealing wanders right across Britain. It’s a journey filled with delight and discovery as she meets entertaining people, experiences fascinating local customs and enjoys incredible vista.
As ever, the reliable Helen will be pootling gently across the country, making sure Susan experiences every little bump along the way. But that’s all a part of the perfect Grand Day Out.
Each week, Susan Calman visits a brand-new seaside town to enjoy all it has to offer. She starts besides the sea in lovely Lyme Regis, next she’s off to Eastbourne to enjoy its elegant pier and promenade. Susan then heads to Wales and has a blast in Barry Island. She travels to Yorkshire for beach cricket in Bridlington before ending her adventures in Cromer with a glorious trip on the North Norfolk railway. It’s fast paced and full of joy a seaside treat from start to finish!
