How did a former maths teacher turned financier embed himself so deeply with global elites and was then repeatedly shielded from consequences of his crimes? The Epstein Files will examine one of the most consequential and disturbing scandals of the 21st century, and what Epstein’s story tells us about how power really operates.
The series will be presented by the award-winning journalist and broadcaster Emily Maitlis who famously interviewed the then Prince Andrew about his links to Epstein. This interview drew global attention and was later portrayed by Golden Globe-winner Gillian Anderson.
It will deliver unprecedented access, explosive testimony and forensic analysis of the documents, networks and powerful individuals connected to Epstein’s decades-long criminal operation. The series will also focus on the survivors at the heart of the story, and explore how he managed to get away with his actions for so long.
