The Hardacres

It’s 1895, and change is coming to Hardacre Hall. Electricity, new ideas, and new relationships promise possibilities – but modern life brings growing pains for a family still learning to navigate wealth and privilege on their own terms.

Determined to create opportunities for the working-class community she left behind, Mary champions adult education, while Sam takes bold steps to expand the family business as a recession looms. Joe, now married to Betsy and devoted to their baby son, is eager to prove he can take the reins, but his impulsive decisions test Sam’s trust. Meanwhile, Liza’s intense new romance threatens her friendship with Adella, and a charismatic tutor awakens Harry to unexpected possibilities.

As relationships blossom and old tensions endure, the formidable Lady Imelda Hansen arrives with an agenda of her own. With their values, influence, and future under threat, the Hardacres must stand together and build a legacy that will last.
