The acclaimed psychological thriller The One That Got Away / Cleddau returns for a gripping second season, venturing once again into the shadows of a seemingly tranquil Welsh coastal town where secrets refuse to stay buried.
When a body is discovered in the Cleddau River, DI Ffion Lloyd and DS Rick Sheldon are drawn into a complex investigation involving a suspected killer who is using a dating app to lure women to their deaths. The case takes a chillingly personal turn when it emerges that Ffion has been using the same app as she attempts to move on from Rick- despite the fact that he is now separated and single.
As the investigation awakens traumatic memories from Ffion’s past in Cardiff and her personal life begins to unravel, she takes a dangerous risk that could jeopardise both the case and her career. With tensions rising and the truth becoming increasingly elusive, Rick – determined to atone for his own past mistakes – may be the only person who can save her.
